Industry, Energy names CEO Hubert Chang

Honolulu-based Energy Industries has a new President and Chief Executive Officer.

Hubert Chang, a former commercial banker on Monday in the role of the two sides of the company.

Darren Kimura, Industry and Energy was founded in 1994, has the position as Chief Executive Officer, while Miles Kubo, President of the last three years.

Kimura is his role as President of the Board, is Kubo and director of operations.

Chang was previously Head of the Department of Energy's own investment bank in the U.S. capital for growth, an investment bank headquartered in Massachusetts and California. Previously, he was administrator of clean energy in the investment bank Merrill Lynch & Co. He has a degree in electrical engineering and a master's degree in engineering from Stanford University.

Energy Industries develops, installs and maintains energy efficiency and renewable energy, including photovoltaic systems in buildings and industrial plants.

A offices in the Big Iceland and Maui, as well as in Washington, Oregon and Idaho.

Kimura, president and chief executive officer of Sopogy, which filaient Energy Industries in 2007, after five years of research and development. Sopogy is solar concentrators, develops, manufactures and engineers in Hawaii.
